Ms. Ruchi Agarwal, CEO, National Insurance VimoSEWA Cooperative Limited, was a speaker in Session 1 – “Mentorship and Leadership Pipeline: Building the Next Generation of Women Leaders – CEO as an Enabler,” conducted by the International Cooperative Alliance – Asia and Pacific on 16 March 2026.

Our CEO, Ms. Ruchi Agarwal, National Insurance VimoSEWA Cooperative Limited, was a speaker in the plenary session “FinTech, Financing & Risk Management in Cooperatives” at the Cooperative Digital Summit 2026, held at the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE), Pune, India, on 6–7 March 2026.

Ms. Mirai Chatterjee, Director of SEWA Social Security and Chairperson of SEWA Cooperative Federation, participated as a speaker at the launch report of the Lancet Commission on Citizen Health Systems of India report on 21 January in Delhi.

Ms. Ruchi Agarwal, CEO of VimoSEWA, spoke at the Global Inclusive Finance Summit, organized by ACCESS Development Services, held on 13–14 January 2026 in New Delhi.

Ms. Mirai Chatterjee, Director of SEWA Social Security and Chairperson of SEWA Cooperative Federation, participated in the session Building Collective Power for Social Justice: Workers Organizing in the Informal and Popular Economy, organized by WIEGO on 4 January 2026 in São Paulo, Brazil.

Ms. Ruchi Agarwal, CEO of VimoSEWA, was a speaker at the BuildforHer Forum organized by IIMA Ventures on 23rd December 2025 in Ahmedabad

Ms. Mirai Chatterjee, Director of SEWA Social Security and Chairperson of SEWA Cooperative Federation, was one of the speakers at the Livelihood India Summit organized by ACCESS Development Services on 3–4 December in Delhi.

Ms. Ruchi Agarwal, CEO of VimoSEWA, participated as one of the speakers in the session organized by the Asia and Oceania Association of the International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation (ICMIF).

Ms. Ruchi Agarwal, CEO of VimoSEWA, and Ms. Mirai Chatterjee, Director of SEWA Social Security and Chairperson of SEWA Cooperative Federation, were speakers at the two-day dialogue “Towards ReGenerative AI: Frames for Inclusive, Indigenous, and Intentional Innovation,” organized by IT for Change in partnership with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, held from 30 October to 1 November 2025 in Bengaluru.

Ms. Ruchi Agarwal, CEO of VimoSEWA, participated in the webinar on Women Leadership in Cooperatives: Breaking Barriers, organized by the National Cooperative Union of India, on 12 August 2025 in Delhi.

The National Stakeholder Consultation on Heat, Gender, and Climate Resilience was held in Ahmedabad on 28th April 2025, organized by M S Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSR). Ms. Ruchi Agarwal, CEO of VimoSEWA, participated in this event. 

Ms Mirai Chatterjee, Director of SEWA Social Security and Chairperson of SEWA Cooperative Federation, participated as a speaker in the National Conference on Women’s Cooperatives, co-hosted by SEWA Cooperative Federation and VAMNICOM, on 9 and 10th June, 2025, in Pune, Maharashtra.

A meeting with 44+ Civil Society Organizations of Gujarat was held on 10th  May in Ahmedabad to discuss social security schemes for CRPs (Community resource persons). Ms. Ruchi Agarwal, CEO of VimoSEWA, and Ms. Firdosben Ajmeri, Team Leader MIS, participated in the session. 

The Salata Institute for Climate and Sustainability at Harvard University and The Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute at Harvard University organized ‘India 2047: Building a Climate Resilient Future’ Symposium held at New Delhi, from March 19-22, 2025. Ms. Ruchi Agarwal, CEO of VimoSEWA, participated in the event.
